Body Of Lies Case Study
The film is I will be using for this case study is Body of Lies. This film was directed by renowned director Ridley Scott who is known for his good use of lighting. The production company that was used is Warner Bros. Productions. The film was finally released on the 21st November 2008. The film was shot in The United States of America. The film made $39,380,442 in the box office.
I believe that the audience this is intended for is male adults. I believe this because it appears to be very gender biased, with almost no women featuring in it. The age group for this was 16 plus. This is because I believe that this action/thriller film uses the plot and other various settings to bring to life some of the story plots.
The technology used in this film was not radical or cutting edge however, what was use was efficient at getting the job done, whether it was a prop, or real film camera. The audience can really relate to the film as they are unfortunately now types of events that have/are happening in today’s world.
Overall I believe that this film is very effective in what it wanted and has accomplished in negotiating with the audience and relating events in the film to todays world. A good film and enjoyable.
